Vigneswaran Kumaran
Consultant Vigneswaran Kumaran is a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) graduate from University Malaya, has a Masters in Energy Studies from University of Melbourne and is a certified trainer with Human Resource Development Fund, Malaysia. He has 18 years of experience in petrochemical process operations and has served Petronas as a process plant operations and technology specialist while also providing technical consultancy and process technology and equipment trainings for industry patrons.
Vigneswaran also served as project management consultant for Bechtel International Inc. and as process advisor for HMC Polymers, Thailand. His specializations include catalytic dehydrogenation / hydrogenation, plant construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, training, operations and process technology related tasks and has been providing numerous process operation trainings in the field. Furthermore, Vigneswaran is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner, a Time Line Therapy Master Practitioner and a Certified Hypnotherapist. |

Gaya Indran
Consultant Gaya Indran (TMIQ, CISEC, CRiSP) is a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) graduate from James Cook University, Australia and is a certified trainer with Human Resource Development Fund, Malaysia. She has vast experience in gold mining and gold recovery industry, overseeing safety and health aspects as well. During her time working at gold mines, Gaya worked very closely on the detoxification process particularly of cyanide and arsenic. Her vocation included various processes to reduce cyanide and arsenic contents in the tails of the circuit including using wetlands for detoxification. She also worked on tailings dam management with the mining teams. The last year or so has taken her to the quarrying industry looking at EHS within South East Asia (Malaysia, Laos, Phillipines and Indonesia).
From site sampling, monitoring and analysis, to report preparations and submissions, Gaya’s environmental experience over 17 years in mining/quarrying covers the whole spectrum of the trade besides her constant liaison with various authorities in the DOE, DMG, DOSH and MoH which enables her to be on par with requirements and applications of current regulations in the industry. Other than EHS, she has also spent a large part of her career dealing with the CSR within her employers dealing with community engagement, anti-mining project activists, external relations requirements, as well as legal matters for the employers. |
